Music?

So even though about 90% of the topics on here are either gaming/technology related, is music on anyone's minds? I've been listening to a lot of Earth, Wind & Fire recently if that's a place to start.

Earth wind and fire is good, but what you really need is Rick Astley
also if you want a music category, just ask the Stuyvesant

I'll just go ahead and list some groups I quite enjoy.
Classic Rock / Blues Rock:
- Pink Floyd
- Jimi Hendrix
- Stevie Ray Vaughan
- Joe Bonamassa

Alt-Rock / Indie Rock:
- Franz Ferdinand
- Foo Fighters
- Weezer (saw them live in August, was a great show. Yes, they did play their cover of Africa!)
- Car Seat Headrest
- Ben Folds (his stuff ranges from alt-rock to classical concertos)

I also have a classical music (symphonies/concertos) playlist on YouTube I constantly update if anyone would like a link. I've found classical is great music to study to.

Any musicians here? I personally play guitar and have played a few other instruments in the past.

Sounds like there may be a bit of confusion, so I probably should clarify; classical music such as symphonies/concertos. I can see how the wording may be confused with classic rock possibly so just confirming. LMK if you're still interested! :D

Here you go: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_ooiwl1GH8zDb0OZBcllWdUkJzBk8vCP

For me personally, I find it easier to concentrate for a longer period of times while listening to classical which is extremely useful when writing essays. Of course, gotta love my rock music still, however, different genres can better compliment different activities.

Currently, my favorite in this playlist is "The Planets" by Gustav Holst. Many modern-day composers were influenced by this suite including John Williams and Hans Zimmer. You can pick up on where some of the themes from movie music such as some of the music of Star Wars came from.

Thanks! usually i listen to rock or metal, but classical is the one that calms me down rather than amps me up.
